Back in Belgium + pictures

I'm back in Belgium.
The flight home went as planned although I didn't sleep the whole night.
I spent the whole weekend with my friends, mainly drinking beer, sitting in the bar and watching episodes of coupling.
I also already ate a shitload of Belgion food: Man we have great food!
And I just finished putting my pictures online.
you can find them on this adress: www.kano-urbain.be/israel
Take your time to watch them, because there are more than 700 pictures there.
Have fun with them

Bye Israel...

This is it, I'm leaving.
I just packed my bag, in an hour we are leaving to Tel Aviv.
I'm not really feeling it...
I wish I could stay longer, but yeah: back to reality.
I don't feel like writing much, I just feel shitty.
See you guys back in Belgium tomorrow "sigh"

what has been going on

It has been a while since I last wrote something here, so here is an update:
Ein Gedi was beautifull. there were 2 canyons with 3 springs, lots of waterfalls, an almost unique vegetation.
And all of that in the midle of the desert!
I also swam in the dead see.
Honoustly I didn't like it that much, The water is really warm, you can't put your head under water, so It isn't really refreshing.
Also It hurts on places where you have scratches or wounds: I discovered many wounds and schratches that I didn't know of.
But it is ofcourse an experience, and it is really weird to flow around on the water.
You could just fall asleep lying on your back.
Unfortunately after Ein Gedi I had to go back home because I had a problem with my bank account.
When I arrived home after 3 busses I had just 4 shekel left (pretty close huh?).
Life in the kibbutz has become really lazy. We mostly just watch movies and go to the pool.
In the meantime Also Ramon the Mexican (aka captain Jack Sparrow) left the kibbutz.
But, we also have a new volunteer, the first new volunteer since the war started.
And unbelievable but true : he is a belgian!, and not only that, but he is Flemish!, and not only that, but he is from Ghent!
So the first Belgian I see in 3 months is from the same city as me, who would have expected that?
It was really weird to talk flemish at the kibbutz. the first day I was really struggling to speak it.
But by now I already got used to it again.
In the meantime my stay here in Israel is coming to an end, I don't really know how to feel about it: sad because I really enjoy my time here, or excited to see my friends back and especially to eat our wonderfull Belgian food again (een kleintje met stoverijsaus en nen bickyburger here I come!).
I have only 3 days of work left, after that I have 2 days of, and thursday we are leaving to the airport.
Yeas, you read it right, I said WE.
Roy and Kyle decided to come to europe and they booked their flights the same day as me but only one hour later, so I have my flight at 4 am and they have it on 5 am.
It's pretty cool to know that I won't have to wait for my plane by myself.
So Kyle And Roy are going to England, they are going to visit Nicky in Brighton for a few days.
After that Roy is going To Belgium to stay a while with me, and if kyle is able to arrange a visa he's coming over as well.
It's gonna be so cool to be in Europe with the 3 of us.
So mom and dad, start preparing your english.
