Australia

Long time since I wrote anything on here, but there hasn't been anything interesting going on except saving money and planning my next trip.
I've been saying a few times how I wanted to go to Australia and now everything is arranged.
I'm leaving the 3th of May!
First I will stop over at Bangkok where I will stay for 3 days and then it's straight to Sydney.
I will propably stay in Australia for about one to two years, really looking forward to it.
But I decided to make a new blog about it.
In my new blog I will write mainly in dutch though, so for non dutch speakers it will be a lot harder to follow me in my aussie adventures.
who knows maybe I'll write something in english here once in a while.
anyway the url for my new blog is http://durexxx.blogspot.com
For now there isn't that much to see there yet, I'm mainly testing out some new features.

see you on the other side of the globe

back home

I'm back home already since about two weeks ago.
Mexico was great!
Seen very beautifull places, had lots of fun at Ramon's place, kicking it like a kibbutz volunteer in
Mexico city.
And ofcourse the wedding was great too.
Not that much different with our Belgian weddings though.
But one thing's for sure: The mexicans sure know how to party

A few pictures from the trip:

In Mexico

Hi everyone, Im in Mexico as we speak.
been a lot of fun so far, good and cheap cerveza, the most beautifull beach I have ever seen. maye ruins...
I'm now in Campeche, a really gorgeous town where we have a room with vieuw on the plaza principal.
Normally I'll arrive in Mexico city this saturday where I'l hook up with Ramon and Roy. We'll be kicking it there at Ramons place till the wedding.
Kevin told us that ramons place is a 3 hour walk from the wedding spot. we have to work that out when we get there.
Unfortunately I can't put any pictures on the iinternet since I don't have a cable for my camera with me.

that's it for now, time for lunch.
hasta la luego

Update

Allright, a litle update about my mexico trip.
I heard from Ramon again.
He was the Mexican guy that I lived with in Israel.
When he heard about my trip to Mexico he offered to come over to Cancun and do the whole trip together with us, how awesome is that?
Now I keep my fingers crossed to see if Roy maybe wants to do the same thing.
A litle reunion in mexico...

Mexico

It has been a while since I wrote something down here.
I guess by now nobody visits this place anymore, I don't blame them.
So what have I been up to?
Nothing much adventurous, that's for sure.
But I did have been busy.
I've been doing my internship in a daycenter for mentally challenged people, which was lots of fun.
But was also very hard work (especially the tons of reports I had to write for school).
Now my internship is done, but I have still classes and I have to work on my thesis.
Normally I should be done with school around half of June.
And that's when the fun times begin again!

In juli I'm going to Mexico.
I'm finally gonna cross the big pond and this for a special reason.
A good friend of mine is getting married with a mexican girl in Mexico City.
So me and a bunch of other friends are going to attend this wedding.
We are leaving the 13th to Cancun.
From there we're gonna travel by bus in 7 days to Mexico city.
Most off the friends are going to Acapulco for 4 days then, but I decided together with my friend murten not to join them.
Instead we're going to hang out a bit in Mexico City, hopefully meet up with Ramon if he's in town.
Then the 28th is the wedding day, and the 30th we leave again to Belgium.

I'm so looking forward to this trip, eventhough it's only for about two weeks.

some movieclips

I uploaded some clips I made in Israel for you to see:

The show I saw from graduated high-school kids of the kibbutz school

When I was in Haifa I saw some cops who thought there was a bomb on the street.
It actually was just an abandonned backpack.
If you look carefully you can see a yellow robot in the background

When I was climbing the olive mountan suddenly the arabs started singing from the minnarets. The combination with all the jewish graves around me gave a really cool atmosphere

I believe this is the grave of Jesus, although I'm still not sure.
It was at the foot of the Olive mountan under the ground.
Lots of christians were praying at a thomb.

a regular night at our selfmade chill-out in the kibbutz

Back in Belgium + pictures

I'm back in Belgium.
The flight home went as planned although I didn't sleep the whole night.
I spent the whole weekend with my friends, mainly drinking beer, sitting in the bar and watching episodes of coupling.
I also already ate a shitload of Belgion food: Man we have great food!
And I just finished putting my pictures online.
you can find them on this adress: www.kano-urbain.be/israel
Take your time to watch them, because there are more than 700 pictures there.
Have fun with them
